Trinkets

Trinkets are equipable items that modify your stats while having no effect on your appearance. They can be purchased, crafted or combined, given as rewards or found in chests.

Trinket Slots

You start the game with two trinket slots unlocked. Subsequent slots become available after reaching a certain level and cost more and more gold and gems to unlock.

Capped Odds

Prior to the "House Keeping" or Quality of Life updates pushed on 17 Jan 2014, players were able to equip trinkets, runes and Pets to have higher than +100% Odds. After the update, players are limited to +100% Odds.

BW2 Forum: This means that for each bonus type, the combined total of all your "+ Odds to Win [bonus type]" trinkets/pet/runes cannot exceed 100%. So if you have say, +60% odds to win energy from runes, +25% odds to win energy from your pet, and +30% odds to win energy from your trinkets (adding up to 115%), you're total odds adjustment for energy will only be +100%. This is an important balance fix to prevent perpetual play in some specific situations.

To be clear, your absolute total +Odds *can* still exceed 100%, but a single bonus type cannot. You can have +60% odds to win mana, +60% odds to win gold, and +60% odds to win energy all at one, but none of those bonuses can exceed 100% by themselves.

Efficiency Formula

Trinkets increase your "Odds" of finding a particular kind of item. Use the following chart to calculate the Trinket rating for any given level.

For example, the Increases your Gold Odds Rating by 400. At level 100 Trinket rating is 50%. 400/50 = 8. Therefore the would give you an 8% increase to find .
